This is a great 'behind the scenes' tour of Carmel, long enough to be indepth, short enough that you can go back and visit the places for a longer visit once you've finished the tour. You may even get to visit with Carmel's very own Lord Wellington! More

It is a very romantic place to be and people you meet on the beach are just very friendly!!! Also, I never seen so many dogs in my life before in one place. I have seen so many lovely dogs in this place. It is such a picture perfect to me! More

We have been to Carmel on many occasions but never got to see the secret places or hear the stories about old Carmel. Gail was great and introduced us to a Carmel we have not seen and without her knowledge would never have seen. She had tales of people that have lived there that were soooo interesting. We loved it... More

Definitely worth two hours of your time and $25 of your money to get a local artist's perspective of this beautiful village by the sea. Wear comfortable shoes: no heels allowed in Carmel anyway. Hear stories about the famous visitors and residents. It's a great way to start your visit to the area. More

Gail was an awesome tour guide. She was able to connect to the diverse group and was most enjoyable. Grab a coffee and meet at the Pine Hotel at 10:00. (Reservations by phone suggested). Enjoy a 2 hour tour through this inspirational town. Make note of what you will want to re-explore on your own. This is a great way... More

We did this neat walking tour on our very first trip to Carmel, and it was a perfect introduction and overview of the very quaint town. We are not typically tour people, but loved this tour and would absolutely recommend it to everyone. Gale offers many suggestions and takes questions. She seems very well connected in the town, and walks... More

Based on the prior reviews on TA, went on the walking tour on the first morning of our visit. It was spectacular. Gail was a wonderful guide with a unique perceptive of the town. Gave wonderful tips on where-to-go and where-to-eat. Very knowledgable of the history of the town and it's former and previous residents. I agree with all the... More

If you are in Carmel for a few days try and do this the first day so you can see all the lovely restaurants and hidden gardens of this beautiful town. Gale was very interesting and gave us a lot of information along with sharing tips on where to stay and eat. I would recommend this as a great way... More

Don't leave Carmel without taking a walking tour with Gale Wrausmann of Carmel Walks! As many times as I've been to my favorite get away, 'Carmel-by-the-Sea,' I've never enjoyed it as much as I did when taking Gale's 2-hour walking tour. We started in the romantic courtyard of the Pine Inn and then winded our way through the charming village... More

Carmel was more charming in person than I imagined it to be. Truly a “dog town,” the residents go out of their way to accommodate our four-legged friends! Choosing “Carmel Walks” with Gale was a great way to start our time in Carmel as she took us to places we would’ve certainly missed. Through secret passageways, into landmarks, and through... More
