My sister and I spent several hours hiking in the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve during our visit to Cambria. It was breathtakingly beautiful; we first walked along the ocean bluffs taking in the waves and sea life. Then we followed a trail meandering up into the hills that were covered with lupine and California poppies - the scenery was absolutely spectacular.... More

Take a look at my review of the hotel. Spelled it wrong but if you are here this is a must see. Incredible views, miles of trails, dogs allowed off leash

This was a great quick "hike" for us. The day was foggy and cool... But still worth it! There were poppies and lupin in bloom and it was just fun to do. Kids had fun running ahead to find the next bench to sit on. Tide pools are easy to get to and fun to poke around in. We will... More

Lovely paved walk, giving great views of the Ocean and Mountains. Easy to follow and easy to walk. We did a long route through West and East ranches, from the beach to the top of Cambria village.

This Preserve was unknown to us until I read an article on it in Cambria Magazine found in our motel. So glad we nature lover's stopped to investigate and take a long walk to enjoy beautiful scenery alongside the Pacific Ocean. This is a great place for birding. We saw a number of hawk species and I was fortunate to... More

This preserve has several hiking options that vary in difficulty -- but most offer scenic views of the coast. The bluff trail is 2 miles round trip, but easy (no hills). It's also wheelchair or baby stroller accessible so all can enjoy the fresh air. Other hikes go up into the hills or down into the valley. Great bird watching,... More

Beautiful vistas and a well kept boardwalk for a portion. Also, lots of great vacation rentals in the neighborhood at the southern end of the preserve. Stay near the edge and you'll have a great place to walk, if not a terrific, unhindered view.

Just the right distance for a stroll, looking for sea otters on an improved wheelchair friendly trail. Dogs on lease only on the bluff trail.

The walk along the bluffs is wonderful. Nice well-cared for trail with interesting benches. 1 mile along the bluff walk and another mile on the upper side. Nice surf sounds all along the way. Not crowded. Small parking areas at both ends. Bikes allowed on upper trail.

Best walk in the area and easy to do. A must see if you are visiting Cambria and it's not that far from downtown.
