I'd been hearing wonderful things about Jericho Canyon ever since the early press on David Ramey's wines. I finally made it out for a visit and was blown away. This is literally a slice of heaven. Driving up, it seemed like I was going to the wrong place. This winery is hidden. Tara met me at the winery with the... More

tours and tastings are thorough and the property is bucolic. Hillside vineyards surround the winery, contained in a modern barn building. Most often a family member leads the tour. Great wines!

This is a must. We visited 5 wineries and this was our best experience by far. The place is small.we were taken to the hills where the vines were, then onto the processing areas to see the wine being produced and the into the caves to taste the wines in a great setting surrounded by the wine barrels. This is... More

Good wines, expensive, and the fee for tour/tasting is not waived unless a 3 bottle purchase is made. Very nice place to see though...family owned which is always a bonus!

We started the tour with a short walk up the vineyard. Enjoyed beautiful views around the canyon. We had a nice sit down tasting in the cave. Lots of nice wines and knowledgable staff.

This was the first of several boutique style vineyards we visited with Perata Tours. Nicholas (son of vineyard's owner) greeted us and took us for a walk to see his family vineyards before walking in one of the estate's cellar for a unique tasting experience. You must try (and buy) the 2007 Estate Cabernet and 2007 Jericho Creek Cabernet. Thank... More

Not being a couple who like the big crowd wine tasting experience, yet seeking some finer wines, this was a fantastic place to visit. You are not just another number here. We.loved the walk up the hill, the short tour, and then the fantastic experience of tasting at a large table in the heart of the cave. If you are... More

We really enjoyed our visit to Jericho Canyon. Tara was a great host, and we enjoyed learning about the winery and the family that runs it. We found the wines to be excellent. This might not be a great place to start for someone who knows nothing about wine, but you don't have to be an expert either. This vineyard... More

After visiting the "big boys" down in the valley, it was a welcome experience to visit Jericho canyon. After being greeted by the owner( unknowingly) ,we walked up the hill to overlook the vineyard and what a breath taking view it was. We learned the principals of growing the grapes from the owner while Tara our guide continued our tour... More

Tara and Nick made us feel like we were apart of the family. Beautiful property, fantastic education for the lay person, and most important, delicious wine. Not on the typical commercial tours so definitely worth going on your own.
