Audio guide is worthwhile..very insightful. Good to be able to wander around at your own pace. £4 entry fee is acceptable too. More

The kids had a great time playing hide and seek and chase. The steep moat boundary provided them with a place to run free. EH members so great for regular short visits when in Kings Lynn. More

Castle Rising is about ten minutes away from where we live. It is an English Heritage property and a fine example of a medieval castle. Breathtaking at first sight, yet worth repeated visits. All the castle and its mound can be explored inside and out, and there is an information centre and gift shop too. Excellent tea rooms in the village as well, with home baked pastries and cakes. More

Went there with family while visiting them in Boston. A whole day is not required. Bring a camera. We were there on a lovely day. As there are steps it is advisable to wear comfy footwear.
