It is "the place" to see in Nerja. You can sit and just enjoy the movements of the see. you can enjoy outdoor restaurant service.

Go before the crowds start to gather. 9am is good. Most places are open but this is the calm before the storm. I have visited almost everywhere on the Costa del Sol but although this is a major tourist spot I can't help returning time and time again. This is actually one of my favourite places in Nerja. Beautiful to sit down (plenty of public benches, and lots and lots of bars, ice cream shops and restaurants) and gaze out into the Mediterranean Sea, or onto the square for some people-watching. We spent many happy hours sat people watching and eating ice cream on the Balcon,we had lunch in the restaurant which was lovely.The views are fantastic especially on a really clear day.

Stayed in Nerja so had a few beers on the Balcon! Amazing views and some great photo opportunities. Some great restaurants too. A must if you are in Nerja.

the view from the natural rock cliffs, a very nice hotel just beside, the shops and cafes are open to the early hours.
