Route 66 road - Crazy, wild, interesting, characteristic, colourful, this place has it all. You step back in time (even bought a Stetson cowboy hat for the memories). This is the sort of place you really appreciate when you see it. The people are very welcoming warm and friendly. Loved it.

This town is so great. Small and cozy. People are very friendly, and we felt very welcome. The main street, route 66, has a western feel to it, with the old buildings, and horse-drawn carrige rides.

We loved our little stop over in this quaint little town. So pretty and charming at night too. Was the perfect addition to our route 66 road trip. Lots of places to eat and get the perfect souvenir. My only regret is that because they are so busy at christmas i guess the shop owners take a break after so... More

Williams was the last town located on Route 66 to be bypassed by I-40, and continues to celebrate that historic route with vintage car shows and the Route 66 Cultural Heritage Days. Historic old town Williams is full of interesting shops and galleries. We believe you’ll discover that Williams offers the best combination of lodging, meals, shopping and entertainment closest... It was a beautiful way to help celebrate the Christmas holiday.Store front windows all decorated for the holidays. Our favorite was the snowing tree. Very old small town feel just right. Wish we could longer.

Easy to walk around town even though it was raining. Love the one way street on main street. The shops were unique and had alot of variety

I had a load of kids with me from ages 2-10. We had taken the train to and from the canyon and we tired. But we had a good time on this walk saw all sorts of well maintained cool items, and everyone was friendly!! truly thought I was not going to like it and happily did . We ate... More

In the fall this is lovely little downtown area. It has the typical route 66 tourist shops, but they're are dozens of small bistros, restaurants and bars to stop in. The Walk area is small and kept clean. It's split in the middle by the two different traffic directions. Check out the "back" shops and eateries.

Stayed in the city of Williams AZ for 3 nights in November 2012 with my family. We loved walking along the streets of Historic Williams. It’s about 6 blocks long, has lots of shops, restaurants, hotels. All of the shops, restaurants has a unique look and feel. Walking along the streets really takes you back to yesteryear and has a...
