I had always wanted to see Boot Hill Cemetery and I was not disappointed. I was a bit apprehensive having read some of the other reviews but I didn't find it the least bit tacky and there was certainly no piped music. In fact there were signs reminding people that this was a cemetery and to act accordingly. I found...

Worth seeing, this piece of old West history, is cared for by the city. There's a small shop at tbe entrance for visitors and plenty of photo opps.
The comments on the stones are descriptive to say the least. We had a great time, took some pictures especially of people with the same last names as some of our friends. You can bet that on the next special occasion with these lucky friends, they will get an authentic (do you think) photo of one of their ancestors grave...

This place is on the left as you drive in from Tucson. As a big fan of westerns I had to see "Boot Hill". A lot of the graves are unknown and the rest have some interesting markers. As I was walking the cemetary, names were there that had me remembering all of the Louis L'Amour books I've read... It...

You won't want to miss visiting Boot Hill if you've just completed your tour of Tombstone. While the cemetery is small, it is packed full of history. We were amazed at how many of deaths were by violence...whether by hanging, shooting, murder or suicide. Very glad we saw the final resting place of the Clantons and McLaureys from the gunfight...

This is the one graveyard you need to see. There is only one with these iconic epitaphs on the markers. A whole list of people found their final resting place here. Very few died of natural causes. shot, hung, murdered, lynched, found, stabbed, etc.
It is a real cemetary. This is only a small part that is preserved. Has a nice gift shop and restrooms. They also sell fudge. Recommend to stop, doesn't take to long to visit. Closes at dusk.
Wasn't sure this was going to be worth the trip, but it was. Very interesting. Good picture taking opportunities and the brochure with information on the folks buried there made it worthwhile.
