Beautiful homes that are so compatible with their surroundings. Awesome cacti, beautiful red rocks. Fantastic views. Blessed folks who live here.

Do not try to drive this road all the way through! If you come in off of Rt. 17, only go as far as the overlook and go back the way you came.......Unless you have a very sturdy 4 wheel drive vehicle with very high clearance! It is unpaved and nearly impassable from downtown Sedona.

I found this location a nice alternative to Airport Mesa at Sunset. Although Airport Mesa is THE place to be at this time it is very crowded yet offers an amazing view of Sedona from on high.I would suggest both locales

The beginning of the road looks decent, but as you ascend, you'll wish you were in an off road vehicle. Views are spectacular. You can hike the trail that parallel's the road, called Munds Wagon. Very popular for ATV's and jeep tours. It got its name from Mrs. Sedona Schnebly, an early homesteader. No kidding.

I suppose you could take this trip in a car, but I don't recommend it. A vehicle with higher clearance would be better. We went from the bottom up, but I think going from the top down would be better because the spectacular views are in front of you that way. This is the original road into the canyon and... More

We took the Safari Jeep Tour up to the Mongollon Rim, and the way up is on Schnebly Hill Road. You truly need a off road vehicle. It is a very bumpy ride( rough most of the time!!!) Saw some very nice suv's driving up,and a few cars and i would never take my suv up that road!!!! Beautiful views of... More

We took this road from I17, thinking it would lead us quickly to Sedona. We didn't heed the sign that said 4x4 vehicle recommended-how bad could it be? The beginning was not too bad, the viewpoint was beautiful. We should have turned our Malibu around at that point, but why with only about 4 miles left? It took us over... More

This is one rough road, 4x4 only. Go slow took us over two hours. Came down from I-17 to Sedona. Great hiking and picture taking. We stopped a few times to take it all in and to let the dog out.. There is also one great mountain biking or hiking trail that runs beside the road. Keep a look out... More
