This was one of our best memories...not only did we stop at one of the vortex sites but we also had the best time doing a helicopter tour of the area.

This is my favorite vortex. it is easy access and the view is incrediable. I have stayed at the airport cottages Skyview that is up there. Those are amazing too anf you can walk right over to airport mesa cafe
A short hop to the top for a beautiful panorama of Sedona! Well worth a stop! Loved the greens, reds and overlook on Sedona!
If you plan on catching the sunset plan to get there about an hour in advance at least. Part of the entertainment (and anxiety) was watching people try to find a parking space (without hitting your car). The parking lot is small (<20 cars). You will enjoy your trip to the top of the Mesa and back. You can watch the planes take off and land. The place is beautiful. The food is a little pricy but wonderful. It's the kind of place you would go for a special occasion.
Don't have to hike this one, just drive up and take a look at Sedona, spread out before you. Bring lots of water though; it can be pretty hot up there. Maybe some spare cash too, and hop a helicopter for an even more exciting views.
We loved the easy access - so simple to get to and easy to climb onto and then WOW! What a view! All of Sedona 360 degrees and you can definitely feel the energy while drinking in the power and beauty of nature surrounding you with the red rock structures of Sedona everywhere you look. You must at least stop...

We joined a hundred or more to watch the sun set on a Saturday evening. Lovely view across the beautiful red rocks of the Sedona area. A small donation towards upkeep of the parking and viewing area is not absolutely required, but would be the considerate thing to do - a dollar or two in the box provided. My friend...

Just before sunset people flock to the airport for the best views of sunset over the red rocks. There is a fenced in area for viewing. You overlook the entire area. There is a box set up for a free will donation. There is a great trail around the airport here to also do.
Would put this at lower end of visiting locations. View nice but day was misty. Not up to other locations but interesting
