Easy to access and great photo ops! You can get good views of it all over Oak Creek, so by just driving some of the roads you can get a good view.

We took the ""Bell Rock / Courthouse Trail". If you want a LONG Walking trail......this is it! Seemed like we walked forever......we unfortunately took the "Big Loop Trail". I am the type of person who would rather take three or four 2-3 mile hikes than one long hike.

First thing you see as you enter Sedona is the red rock shaped in a bell, the town has an authentic wild west feel although there are a lot of upmarket shops within for tourist purposes. We did see one old timer cowboy in his regalia and a six gun in his holster. As you leave sedona and climb the 4,ooo... More

So beautiful and unique. Of course, this is just one of many beautiful formations, but this one is very unique.

The Courthouse Loop trail is a 4 mile loop around Bell Rock, rated as moderate in difficulty. It is an excellent hike with spectacular views at every turn and opportunities to climb on some of the rocks for those who feel so inclined. Little Bell Rock is about the 1/2 way point and was an easy climb providing a perfect... More

The Bell Rock/Courthouse Loop is a very popular, easy/moderate hike. The footing is OK but supportive hiking shoes are recommended. The views are spectacular.

Great hike for all ages. Trail is well marked and easy to follow. Cyclists share the trail in some areas. Courthouse loop is available from Bell Rock and not to be missed. Lots of beauty and solitude along the way. Great photo opportunities!

Since renovating the roads and approaches only access is a mostly flat and even trailhead--bring water and be prepared for a long hike before actually in a position to climb. Scenic trail though with numerous photo ops

Great hike but it's pretty steep. We loved it. The rock is so perfectly shaped, it really looks like a bell! It's better to go early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds (because everybody loves it)!

My entire family (my husband and I in our 60s with our late 20s daughters) hiked 3/4th of the way up bell rock and it was even doable for my asthmatic self. Loved the views. The ledges were a bit narrow and when the wind blew it felt like it could blow you off the mountain. Felt a real accomplishment... More
