We played The Raven on our last day of our 4 day Phoenix trip and expected another solid track that was still typically a desert course. Not saying that in a bad way, you don't go to the desert and expect "parkland type" courses. We arrived about 90 minutes before our scheduled tee time and were greeted by a very... More

Best track in this area. Better than you thing from the road! Enjoy the round before or after work! Enjoy the pampering by the staff - makes you feel like you are at a private club.

We always come here for mother's and father's day to spend some quality family time with the kids. The food is tremendous and scenery breathtaking.

Here's a gem of a course with great facilities, good food and drink, a nice layout well-maintained and a superb golf instruction school called TourStriker run by professional Martin Chuck and his highly competent staff. You can go for group lessons, private (mano el mano) instructions or just sign up to use the practice facilities and either way you choose... More

We had a group of 4, 10-18 handicappers. We just wanted to drop $100/round and get all we could. Good course, good lunch, nice pro-shop, and wide open fun and challenging course. This was it! Desert courses we played in the past were a little tougher for some of us. (Boulders and Troon) Many of the other places wanted $200-300/round.... More

This is a lesser knwon, but quite beautiful course. It is a links style course, with 6,000 trees that were brought onsite when the course was constructed. Has the flavor of a course in the midwest or east, but the weather advantages that Phoenix has to offer. The tee choices let you tailor the experience to your capabilities, from duffer... More

The Raven is a quality golf course with many interesting holes and we did enjoy ourselves. However, at $149 a pop we didn't feel the overall maintenance of the course matched these rates. If your looking for more of a desert layout and great views, there are many other choices. We also noticed some type of fertilization they were spraying... More

Course is very nice, priced high compared to other public access courses in the valley. I was very pleased with the pro shop manager, who was very gracious in helping out a non-profit organization that I support with some items for our silent auction.

With the coupon from newspaper, it was $60ish. Very well maintained course in South PHX. Good practice area, free range balls with green fee. Even on a quiet mid-week day, the beverage cart was out and madeit around often. Had a very good sandwich and salad in the cafe.

My son and I have played golf at the Raven many times. The course is always maintained very well and reasonably priced. It is a challenge with a lot of mounds on the fairways and the greens as well. It has a very nice pro shop and you can usually find some good deals. The clubhouse is very nice too.... More
