RAFTING MANSO RIVER THE BORDER Going to the Southern part of the National Park, we will travel 70 kms along the national route 40. We get to Villegas River and turn into a debris road to make another 30 kms to the West and get to the campsite “La Pasarela”. After getting ready with the equipment and listening to the security talk, we will start rafting. “Cañon de Terciopelo” is the last tame place. Afterwards, “The First Rapid” appears and the action begins! With little space between one rapid and the other, we will find some entertaining rapids class II and also violent ones class III. They are called “Relax” or “Devil’s Gut” rapids.“Keep on going!” , says the guide and we all fall into a deep pit that shakes us and shows Manso ´s power before changing its nationality. The “Safety Kayak” stays with us all the trip, making it very safety. The “International” rapid is class II. There ends our rafting tour! Changing clothes and returning to the campsite “La Pasarela”, we have lunch. An incredible roasted meat will help us to recover energy. Time to share experiences and return to Bariloche.
