This is a cowboy dinner and show. I decided to go there because I thought my grandchildren (ages 6 & 3) would think it fun. I personally didn't have much expectation. I was surprised as the evening definitely exceeded my expectations. It was set in a western town motif where they had pony rides and the kids could pan for... More

We thought this would be a fun evening with good food, a western show and unique shops. Instead, we had so-so bbq chicken and "steak" that was inedible. The shops consisted of one candy store that sold pre-packaged snacks like Grandma's cookies and Snickers bars. The majority of the store was empty; took all of 30 seconds to see the... More

This was our first visit to the "Rockin R Ranch", but I'm sure we'll be going back! It's just like a trip back in time to the Old West, but with all the modern conveniences. We started our evening with a cold root beer and a walk through the "town". Ice Cream Shoppe, Gift Shop, Shootin' Gallery, Blacksmith Shop and... More

PLEASE DO NOT book a private party or event here!! Rockin R Ranch is surrounded by residential areas, and apparently they violate noise laws in their city. Unless you want to risk having police officers walking around your party, don't spend your money here.

We loved the look of this venue, a rustic and charming old-West town in the middle of a bustling city. The multi-talented family that owns the ranch take on a lot of different roles during the event, from taking your tickets and serving your meal to entertaining the guests with live music and skits. The service was friendly and efficient,... More

Fun southwestern town motif with an average dinner show with very average food. It is not a place that I would frequent. However, I have never been disappointed when I have brought out of town guest to this place. Everyone including me seems to have a great time.

It makes you feel like you are in an old western town that is the novelty of it outside the grounds is modern Mesa Arizona with the malls and stores but the rockin Ranch makes you feel like you are truly there I believe it goes back 8 generations and they reminise about the old... Fun evening but the place needs a helping hand to get back on track. We attended a Friday evening show that was fair attended. The gift shop appeared more like leftovers in presentation and in the product selection - like they were going out of business. The food was plentiful and a fair value. The entertainment was adequate albeit I... More

Took a group there last month, very disappointed. I don't understand why this place gets high reviews. Everyone in my group complained about the food. It's covered in their barbeque sauce, a lot of people don't like sauce. You don't have a choice. Normally I love barbeque sauce, but not this stuff. It's home made and terrible. The amount and...
