I can only echo some of the other reviews, great place to start a wine tasting experience, good selection of wine, friendly atmosphere, easy place to find, and, most importantly, we like most other people, aren't serious wine buffs, and we were looked after accordingly! They do do a cheese board, but, however this is pre-wrapped in cellophane. I was... More

We had a great trip around the vineyard then had an amazing lunch at the restaurant - all food recommended and such a beautiful setting

Getting into this golf course is a bit of a journey, but the food at the end of the line was worth it. The set 3 course was delicious, surpassing my expectation for the price. Wasn't thrilled with wine.

Friendly place to visit with lovely wines and informed staff. A great place to get an intriduction to the whole wine tasting experience (especially if, like us, you are not serious wie buffs)

During our first trip to South Africa, we visited Kleine Zalze at the recommendation of a friend who lives there. We've been to wine tastings around the world (Australia, New Zealand, Napa, Sonoma, and others) in our travels, and must say that this was one of the most wonderful tastings we've ever been to. Wayne, our host for the tasting,... More

We decided to go to Kleine Zalze so my husband could to a wine tasting. Things got off to a bad start with the very rude lady security guard at the main entrance. We followed the sign to the wine tastings and arrived at some buildings but there was no indication at all as to where the tastings were being... More

I stayed at the Hotel (not one of the Golf course lodges - although my review of last year ended under them!); i spent a glorious sunny weekend here during a business trip; great value at around £90/night including breakfast. I played golf, ate a meal at the excellent Terrior, sat around the pool all Sunday and ate at their... More

The room was good with a small balcony but a fantastic view. The swimming pool area was very well looked after by the staff. Drinks service was good and towels etc well catered for. The view over the golf course to the mountains was fantastic. Breakfast was well catered for on the food front but get an outside seat where... More

My hubby and I have been doing the Cape wine routes for years and it is superb. The last 4 days we have stayed at Spier and did the Stellenbosch routes daily. Kleine Zalze advertises that they are open until 6. Each day we scheduled that as our last stopm. For 4 consecutives days we arrived at the farm's security... More
