This is a vibrant area of Joburg with good restaurants, clubs and bars and not far from Rosebank Mall which hosts the Cinema Nouveau and the Sunday Rooftop Market.

Parktown, as the blurb says, is one of Johannesburg's oldest suburbs and the early mining magnates built their mansions here. A close as Johannesburg get's to Europe, with shops and restaurants, tables on the pavements. Excellent place to watch the world go buy and do some great shopping.

Little trendy shops ,trendy and good restaurants,cafes ,pubs...People walking on the streets ...It just remind me of a street in Europe or Argentina. Nice neighborhood ,residential. Low high constructions, trees ...I can go there any day !

Spend an afternoon exploring 4th Avenue in Parktown filled with antique and decorating shops. Park your car and walk. There is something for everyone.
