My son and his bride planned a kayak adventure with 40 friends. North kayak was a wonderful choice. The guides were personable, intelligent and extremely helpful with instructions and directions. The owners supprised the young couple with special gifts and surprises during the day. Lunch was provided; great no matter what the weather (but sun is better than rain!

Great service, wonderful outing, great guide! True North was also the most affordable in Homer, and worth EVERY penny!

I did the half day trip, which was a very relaxing, easy paddle around eagle island. Our guide Merryn was extremely knowledgable, picking out creatures under the sea, showing us natural formations. If it hadn't been for her skills in leading it probably wouldn't have been as enjoyable as it was it was quite a rushed experience with a relatively... More

Had some airline issues getting to Alaska and Homer, but we were scheduled for a 3/4 day kayak trip and the weather turned gorgeous for the first time in weeks. Had a great guide for the two of us and other than a little wind on Katchemak bay had a delightful paddle. Saw some fantastic eagles up close and personal.

This is a wonderful experience for anyone. This was our first time in a kayak. The guides are wonderful. Matt and Brad made our trip fun, exciting and beautiful. It is so worth the trip!

Over Memorial Day weekend, I had the great pleasure of going on a True North kayak trip around Yukon Island. Alison (company owner) had gone out of her way to accommodate my schedule which I appreciated tremendously. And while the scenery and weather was idyllic, it was primarily guide, Marin, who made the trip for me. She was not only... More

My son and I did the all day trip. We were the only ones in our group so were able to go at our pace. Our guide, Marin, was very knowledgable about the animal and plant life. She did a good job of guiding us and making sure we were safe. We had a great time and would use True... More

Our kayaking/camping trip as arranged by True North Kayaking Adventures (TNKA) was simply outstanding. Alison and her staff were essential in helping us arrange our trip. We chose to rent a Yurt on Kayak Beach in Kachemak State park to camp overnight, and use that as a base for hiking and kayaking to explore the area. TNKA set us up... More

True North Kayak is one of the most established and professional kayak companies in the area. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable and the wildlife and landscape we saw were amazing. A great thing to do in Homer!

For over 10 years, we've relied on True North for gear that's complete and in tip-top shape. The staff takes us from reservations to return smoothly and with a smile. Highly Reccomended. Anne Bacinski, Anchorage
