Spectacular scenery, very natural. The river is clean, rises in the mountains. Nearby we visited the Tapanti Naqtional Park.

Definately worth a visit and away from the big city! Orosi is a small quiet town that is a pleasure to walk around.

It is worth going for a day. You can combine it with going to Cartargo. Not so much to see though...
Tere are magnificent views as you go down into the valley and particularly from the restaurant off to the right before you go down. The church in the village is quite interesting too as is the walk down to the footbridge across the river.Plenty of birds about
Its really pretty, few cars and even fewer tourists. A naturally beautiful part of the country with a historic church (the oldest still in use in CR).
What a hideaway, the hidden valley. Spectacular views, beautiful coffee plantations, quiet corners and rivers for hiking, walking and bird watching. This has it all.
this is what I thought when we were driving around in this amazing area: "an explosion of the nature"... green, river, animals... wow very recomended
