Went for some good runs around the park. Lots of activity on the weekend, people playing football (soccer) and picnics and such. Good place to read and enjoy outdoors.

Nice park, well equipped, were costaricans go with the family or to play football with friends, with a little lake
I wandered through the park on Good Friday just to while away some hoursbefore catching a flight. Many families had come to the park to picnic and enjoy the open spaces that has a running track and roller skating track. It seems a nice place. Was quite windy when I went walking and there is no let up on bike traffic. A little more security is needed.
If you are close to it you have to go to excercise. You will see lots of people on weekends. You only have to be careful at night.
This park was near our hotel but difficult to reach across a very busy highway. It is having alien but attractive trees cut down at the moment. It is also dotted with rotting metal sculptures from the 70s (?) This park is the largest in SanJose and is packed on the weekend with families enjoying life. They are areas for road races, soccer, exercise groups and activities of all kinds. Many families were obviously spending the day here with picnicing a major part of the day's activity. I would highly recommend taking the time to stroll through this park...

Lots of green right in the middle of the city. Used to be the old airport, now it is the largest park in the city and even has an art museum, a football stadium, and an event stage. Very nice area.
not what we expected but nice lots of people from the hotel went to run in the morning. becareful crossing the road
This park was really calm and quiet. I can tell they are doing some more stuff like putting in trees but this was a great place to go walk around. Its scenic and the stadium is beautiful. I was able to go jogging there in the mornings, but do not go at night is what I was told.
