We did the hanging bridges walk and saw all kinds of birds and different vegetation. It was so quiet and peaceful. Our guide was so knowledgeable and quick to point out everything.

We took our 3 1/2 year old son here and he LOVED it. They give you flashlights for you to find the different reptiles hiding in their cages which is fun (especially for kids) and they had a nice variety of snakes and frogs.

Facility was under substantial construction when we went, so several displays were empty. Decent selection of reptiles, but too limited to give it a great review.

The Monteverde Serpentario was a great way to see all the native reptiles that may otherwise be hard to see.

I took the kids here. They loved the snakes, frogs and other creepy crawlies. We found out the sea snakes we saw at Playa Brasilito were quite venomous and that there was no antidote. Good thing we stood well back.
