Save yourself time and aggravation, spend the night at the Rio Celeste Hideaway hotel and take the National Park hike early with plenty of time and energy, its around 3-4 hours if you do the pool also. I've never seen water so blue! This area definitely looks like a screen saver. The hike involved is not for those not not accustomed to exercising, LOL. The drive is a long one from La fortuna, most of it on a very bumpy road.
