This museum is an interactive experience in which the museum visitor is being taken as a slave from Africa to Alabama on board a small vessel. During the approximately one hour ordeal, the slave/visitor is separated from his/her friends and family, degraded, humiliated, and taunted. It's a powerful, eye-opening hour.
