I read in the Lonely Planet that this was a popular spot for joggers, and drove past there on my way to the countryside. There are 20,000 graves here, all Chinese and buried according to Feng Shui. It is a fab running spot as there are paths all over, you can spend 30-60 minutes exploring all the routes and you'll... More

We were quiet surprised as to the size of the area and the history associated with the hill. If you consider doing a tour of Malacca we recommed taking a guide to tell you all about the history and detailed stories you would not find out doing it alone.

nothing to shout about if you want to visit graveyards on your tour menu. this place is over 500 years old - some tombs are well preserved, others are like sunken to the ground. locals generally will avoid being there for starters. this hill was given by the local chieftain to the chinese migrants in the 14th century, when Malacca... Nothing special to rave about, after 20 years since I last visited, there is no change. Surrounding is very rundown, nothing much to comment, just re-living some old experience.

A great place to go for a jog in the evening. This is how some Malacca Chinese use to take exercise. But beware of pick-pocket -- do not go alone unless it is during the peak hour, usually 5-6pm.

This hill is filled with some very old Chinese graves, Not for the faint-hearted. It is located near Little India. At the foot of the hill is the Sam Po Kong Temple and the WW2 memorial. One can enter via the footpath on the left of the temple.

I grew up in Bukit China & its just a walk away from my grandmother's house which is still there till now... We had to walk about 2kms to the stairs 10 years back but now u can just climb the hill from the roadside as the soil are getting lower due to erosion... This hill was once the earliest... More

Jogging paths on the hill, on which many were buried. Chinese tombs scattered all over the hill. Hill is now well-maintained, with paths and steps. On the foot of the hill is the Sam Po Kong Temple as well the Hang Li Po Well - all relating to the history of Melaka, Admiral Cheng Ho, and Princess Hang Li Po... More
