Worth getting the speaking commentary, so it can tell the history of the building as well as the exhibits.

Really interesting place to visit. Gandhi's old home in Mumbai has been turned into an exhibition about his life, it has framed originals of his letters to Hitler and Roosevelt.

Just loved the way, the place has been maintained. It is a must see place for any body & everybody weather you are a Mumbaikar or a Tourist Visitor. It shows a lot about the life of the Great Mahatma Gandhi. The atmosphere there is beyond my words can describe.

Though the museum could use a bit of a clean-up and reordering, we had a lot of fun and learned loads about Gandhi. Our favourite part, however, was definitely the room upstairs full of figurines displaying different... More

We went because our driver took us there & it was certainly interesting - but if you're already familiar with Ghandi's life & work its adds almost nothing new. We found the models of scenes from his life a little amateurish & very repetitive - think your child's doll's posed in multiple scenes from his life - but if you're... More

I felt anew the power of this amazing man. I especially loved that he lived there and that they had extensive quotes from his writings extracted.

Even my little daughter (4 yrs old) loved it because of all the models that they have put in there. Good place to visit, if you like your history.
