Impressive wide street leading up to Parliament House and the India Gate, it is clean and well kept, and is a popular place for locals to picnic
What the hell? Is this really Delhi? There are wide roads without potholes. Cars drive within their lanes and actually obey the traffic lights. There are beautifully manicured gardens on each side of the avenue. Gardeners actually working and keeping it clean. Squirrels scurrying up and down trees. This was not what I was expecting to see in Delhi. In... More
When you walk on Rajpath it will give you a different feeling. The view of President house and India gate from here is awesome.
I just can say how many times I had been there... One of my fav. spots in Delhi to hang up specially during evening times... Once had a late night visit there with Friends and enjoyed the time and weather there...
Rajpath is as such not a great attraction in my opinion as Rajpath is the road that takes you from India gate to Rashtrapati Bhavan on the other end. The road is a long concrete trail with beautiful gardens on either side that has iron benches to it. This can be best experience while you drive through it on your... More

This is the road which connects India gate which is a war memorial with the Rashtrapati Bhawan. It is nice to walk down the entire street when the weather is good. Although I have never seen the Rashtrapati Bhawan completely lit, but |I was told that the street looks beautiful when the Bhawan is lit during celebrations.
The entire complex is very well maintained and gives a very special feeling of peace and relaxation. The simplicity of this place increases the effect and significance of Gandhi without even noticing how intense the atmosphere is. It’s an interesting contrast since it’s a very quiet place compared to the loud India. A place where you can find your inner... More
I don’t exactly know why is it a big deal of an attraction as Rajpath is majorly a long and clean road that extends from the presidential palace to the India Gate. I m told that this road sees a very interesting parade in their Independence Day celebrations. But for me it was just a road that you will eventually... More
