This is a peaceful retreat in the center of the bustling city. Quiet garden and magnificent church inside fortress walls.
Very charming monastery, close to he city on a hill with a great view. The church and the museum are well worth taking a look. You can also go into the cellars and take a look at their stock of wine. There is the possibility to do a wine tasting, but the quality of the wines is not that great.
I've been there this year in July for a wedding photoshoot, it was a great experience for me. The view from the Golia Tower is magnific and the pictures came out great. Golia is on my list of must visit places in Iasi.
Beautiful monastary both inside and out. Make sure you take the museum tour and climb the tower for a great view of the city.
