I liked the place because I am interested in Zoroastrian religion and think it's interesting that this fire has been burning for 1500 years, but apart from the fire there is absolutely nothing to see here, so I won't recommend it to other travellers.

This is a very interesting place to see the holy place for Zoroastrians , the ancient religion of Iran. It's better to know the ancient history of Iran and Achamened empire to understand the importance.
This is a lovely place for people interested in ancient religions. This is one the oldest dating back to achaemenid dynasty I guess. But the most fascinating point about it's the great flame. It's there intact!
In the recent 35 years ( after the Islamic revolution ), Islam has been emphasized by goverment and regime in a radical way, which is in a complete contradiction with majority of Iranians. Due to the unlimited power of the goverment, criticizing their manner is almost impossible.

Nice temple with beautiful interior and a fire behind the glass
Nice and amazing place due to persian traditions many years ago
this fire was not calmed for 1500 years !! the building is beautiful but not too old. it's from Pahlavi race. the fire burning in it, moved here. The one who keep fire alight, called: Hirbod, and the name of the fire is Varharam.
