There are so many rare plants which are not available outside. The beautiful collections of roses with different colours are awesome. But the only thing is you have to get down from the road and trek back to see this garden.

Spent good time at Rose gardens, even children enjoyed various species of flowering plants. Even in May month we liked the place. In season it will be far better i suppose.

Lots of flowers of every color, spread over a wide area. well maintained. Visit to rose garden really gives peace to mind.

Few plants are unique but other stuff is pretty normal. Not worth the time you have to spend there. From a distance Hydel park looked better than this but we did not have time and energy to explore that.

Long queues for tickets, for mere half an hour visit. Nothing special. Very poor space management. Flowers loaded with one after another. Hardly anything interesting to see. Maybe it will excite some of the botanist, but definitely not me.

We loved Rose Gardens! Rose garden is located on the way to Mattupetty dam before photo point. Nice to see the flowers there

The rose garden is on the way from Munnar to Matupety Dam. It is on a multitiered hill slop so people who have problem in walking ( senior citizens specially) may find it very difficult to see the flowers on different floors. The garden has not just roses (in fact roses are just a part of the wonderful display around), the garden has such wonderful flowers, well maintained and awesomely arranged! You could find wild types of cacti with colorful flowers, gerberas, lilies, rare ferns, etc. A total delight!
