Andy came through with a heart of gold meal delivery to Dell Childrens hospital for friends who were in need of love based only the knowledge that a family was in need of a break from hospital food as they cared for their sweet boy. THANK YOU

We took the Sunday morning South Congress foodie tour and had a great time. We got two guides for the price of one because it was a first tour for one of them. Both were great and contributed different bits of knowledge about Austin and the South Congress area. We ate food from 6 different places, all good, and all... More

I did Austin Eats Food Tour during a Bachelorette Weekend, doing the East Austin Electric Bicycle Food Tour and it was amazing!!! Adam knew this stuff when it came to each place we visited, had the owners of certain places come out and speak to us about everything including their food to things to do in Austin, and was understanding... Thank you, Austin Eats Food Tours, for an outstanding team offsite. We all had a ton of fun sampling eats from a number of stops in the SoCo / So. 1st area on our PRIVATE tour... A culinary delight. Andy picked us up on campus on time and gave us an overview of the tour. Our first stop was La... More

The Chinese have a very useful word, Mamahouhou. Literally it means horse, horse, tiger, tiger and is a fancy way of saying so-so. I have been on several food tours in other US cities and other countries and if this is the best Austin has to offer - SAD! This tour is really meant for the barely 21 college student... More

Hello Sharon, I'm sorry that you saw the combo of 8 stops we selected for your particular tour as mediocre. We have over 65 local restaurant and food truck partners and try to provide a good mixture on each tour. The reason we always give our business cards out each tour is for guests to contact us if we did... More

We visited about 8 food trucks, restaurants and a brewery riding electric bikes. It was a lot of fun and a very diverse menu from Phillie cheese steaks to chicken curry to barbecue, and the list goes on. All the food was great. We sampled multiple beers at a local brewery also.

Three of us took the Downtown tour on March 2nd and while our host Scott was excellent, we felt too hurried and wondered if the tour was cut short too... The tour was to end at 1:30pm (according to the website) but ours ended at 12:30pm... hence the places we visited were really more like pitstops, where we had to... More

Thanks for responding to your recent Austin Eats Food Tour. Based on your feedback we have made a few changes. 1. We plan to now offer your choice of dessert at the last stop vs the sampler tray. 2. We have made some changes to the tour in 2013 so the length is not as long so the end time... More

My husband and I took Andy's SoCo food tour today and enjoyed every last bit(e) of it! Andy shows his love for and knowledge of all things Austin in this tummy pleasing stroll around my favorite area of Austin. Come hungry. Very hungry.

We wanted a chance to explore the South Congress area of Austin and see its revitalization. We were not disappointed. While the $65 sounds high, it was MORE than worth it! We learned about the area and found some fantastic spots! Since we were only in Austin for a long weekend, this was a perfect way to see the area... More

We were in Austin visiting relatives of my husband. They insisted they watch our kids so the two of us could take the food tour. Like the title says - MMMarvelous!!! If there's one thing they do better in the States than in Canada, it's food. I've always been aware of that, but since my in-laws moved down to Austin,... More
