We took food and they have tables and a place for you to sit and eat, planes go up and down, land and take off, the Inside was great to see and there was something for everyone.

Great museum with a decent number of air craft from a variety of genres. Had the opportunity to see someone take a ride in the P-51 mustang and hear the plane start up, taxi and make a few passes over the museum - wonderful. Also got to see a P-40 and the B-29 being prepped for the Oshkosh air show... More

Have been to the Cavanaugh museum several times and always enjoyed it but they recently sent a P-51, AT-6 and PT-19 to the Durant, OK Airfest for static display and flying. Saturday morning was overcast but by noon the clouds started to break up. I rode with Tony in an AT-6 trainer. Very knowledgable about the plane and had a... More

We went here on a school field trip. Lots of great planes and some veterans on hand to talk about their experiences in Viet Nam war. Informational. We also saw movie on the red tails. very informative and I never knew of the people of red tails. My fav field trip. It was interesting to see all the planes that... More

I absolutely enjoyed my visit to this museum! From the museum receptionist to the bus driver (who takes you to hanger 5), everyone was friendly and very knowledgeable! The Good: This is a VERY impressive collection of aircraft! If you enjoy reading about WWI and WWII, then you will easily recognize many of the aircraft that are immaculately maintained here.... The admission price is fair. If you have kids, this is a must see museums. Thee are many activities for kids and adults. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours when visiting.

Wasn't really thrilled about making this trip, but my 15 y.o. son was persistent. Figured it would be a few planes and some plastic models, even after I visited their website. Turns out it was a lot of planes, many of which are flown on a regular basis. You can even take a ride in some of them by appointment.... More

I was there for a charity auction and it was a great venue for it. If you're into planes, you need to see this. It's an old hanger full of important planes you'll want to see.
