A wonderful place for kids to observe penguins. You can see parade by King Penguins. Not so many people go there, so good for kids.

I took my three kids here, and they all seemed to enjoy it. They loved the "march of the penguins". I thought it was a bit small, and we had seen everything un under 90 mins. The thing we enjoyed most was being able to touch the pengins. I am glad we went, but most likely won't go back.

A fun aquarium that focuses much of its attention on the most adorably awesome animals ever - penguins. This is a surprisingly entertaining and informative aquarium located about 30 minutes [by bus] from Nagasaki station. Catch a red bus bound for Aba in front of the "London" game center. Cost is about 420 yen per person. A 12 meter deep tank dominates the entry way. You can observe a variety of swimming penguins from the vantage of underwater.... More
