it's better to go here during the spring season... you can enjoy hiking in mt. maya to see the beautiful falls and the dam and then hike again towards the nunobiki garden... hiking is better than taking the ropeway, unless you're with your oldies or kids, ofcourse! there are some campsites where you can eat before you reach the garden...... The entire garden is divided into 3 ropeway stations, there is the station right at the bottom of the hilly garden, one stations is in the middle and one on top of the hill. The gondola ride was amazing, the views were spectacular well worth the money. So much to see once at the top, awseome foot spa. Really enjoyed the frozen shaved ice drinks etc. Recommend only using the gondola one way and walking down. It is a lovely walk through the gardens, pathways etc.

Entrance is close to the Crown Plaza. Great views of Kobe from the hill as well as from the cable car. Would definitely recommend if visiting Kobe.
