Took a two day pass and spent a couple of hours both days. So much to see, you have to be selective. Rembrandt , Reuben , Van Gogh . Wow. And the palace, the opulence, the marble floors and staircase..... Incredible.

Largest museum in the world full of pairings statues and many more things used by tsars and zarinas it is not possible to go through whole museum in one day you need to skip so many things to complete it is very interesting

It is worth getting a personalized guided tour for 1 to 3 people, there is so much to see. One day is not enough.

We had an excellent guide from Alla Tours who knew the place very well and managed to show us a good selection of paintings and sculpures from the collection in addition to the royal apartments.

They call it a Museum which in respect it is but the collection of Art works places it more on a par with the Louvre in Paris. It is a magnificent building and the paintings are well displayed. The two paintings by Leonardo da Vinci are small but outstanding. Great place to spend some time.

I love visiting the museum and palace. There are so much to see but not enough time. However, the tour guide was excellent in avoiding crowd. She knew exactly where to go to see all the most famous point of interests!!

Anyone going to St. Petersburg is going to the Hermitage, it is a must...it is overwhelming..the art is outstanding and there is so very much of it, that it is hard to take it all in and appreciate it. You would need we were told if spending one minute in front of each exhibit, 13 years to see everything....
