We visited on a beautiful, warm spring day. The gardens provided a colourful background to the fabulous buildings, gleaming gold in the sunlight. A remarkable experience and so much to see both inside and out.
Red Square at night, the lights of GUM or a daylight wander around the grounds, palaces and churches of the Kremlin: be sure to take your time. You can easily spend a day in this place.
When you walk around this building you reolise the sheer vastness of The Kremlin and the collection of Diamonds is something else.
You can see them from the Red Square, from a cruise on the Moskva (recommended) and from many other places around. They are nice, and full of history but go inside the Kremlin, you'll have other views of them and discover very interesting churches and museums too!
The walls and towers are a huge landmark, visible from far away. I highly recommend taking note of them.
These walls and towers are the single most impressive thing to see in Moscow, they are as beautiful as they are formidable, you never tire of looking at them both at day but especially at night.
