Lovely mosque, was fortunate enough to pray inside it. Had a non Muslim friend with us who was also allowed in during the prayer time. The view from the windows onto the river are gorgeous make sure u have a look .

This museum is full of rather old and faded stuffed animals etc. though does have a few interesting exhibits, including a watch recovered from a crocodile after it had eaten the owner !

Wander down the pedestrianized India Street, turn left and "wow" you are facing Kuching's most beautiful mosque. On a rise above the river bank and surrounded by a Muslim cemetery, it is a sight not to be missed while walking through compact old town Kuching. Adjacent to the mosque grounds is an old ship yard from the colonial era that... More

Worth visit awhile. Great photo shooting there. It just beside bus-stop 2. One of the biggest mosque you can find in Kuching. Nearby the this area you can get nice Malay foods as well.

When you have the time around at waterfront you should check this mosque. It's a big mosque and you can see it from afar. Just make sure that you don't wear anything short or sleeveless here.

I have never seen so much marble in one place as I did at the mosque. A very proud religion and very happy to show it to the world no expense spared. The colours are bright and on show.

Although typical of the architectural style found in Malaysia, the mosque stands out amongst other structures around because it is not cluttered with hi rise buildings and is a bit on a higher ground. Its very close to Dataran Merdeka right in downtown area & can't be missed.Beautiful to look at.The interior is not much to see,but the domes and structure is... Not exactly a tourist destination, but a very beautiful mosque in the heart of Kuching. Though a place of religious worship, it's not necessary to be a Muslim to enter the grounds, (but not the mosque itself) though please be respectful and dress decently. Especially breath-taking at night.

What an incredibly cool looking mosque! The bright pink against the gold topped domes brings about a strong hue that is very noticeable from a distance. * The real name for this mosque is actually the 'Masjid Bahagian'. I think that it ranked somewhere just as impressive at the Sultan Mosque in Singapore. A good place to stop and get... More
