Lots to do, lovely beach walkway from Marmaris to Icmeler - bit far for my lazy butt though. Ha ha. Lots of cafes and shops. Most cafes have their own bit of beach with loungers.

Worth two buses into Icmeler from outside Marmaris. A much quieter beach than many with plenty of sunbeds next to 5 star hotels. Expect to pay 3TL each for sunbeds and brolly all day. Calm water and stunning views, recommended.
stopped here on our scooter ride day out before going over the mountains, very clear sea and little fish swimming all around you, lovely ! great views !
At the top of Icmeler beach ,there is free sunbeds and beach ,and direct across there is Deniz Kapizi Terrace Restaurant, the food was good and staff helpful ,the swimming there is great and better than in mamaris and quiet too,try it
part of Icmeler beach was a private beach for our hotel and we were transported from and to our hotel on a free bus, the sun loungers and parosols were free. however any food and or drinks must be paid for
very attractive area, plenty of cafes to choose from and an excellent boat/taxi service to other areas
not as much hassle 2.50 t/l from marmaris about 60pence bars on front ask before sitting down how much is effee,s average price is 6 t/l 1.30. bottle
We walked from our hotel to Icmeler along the seafront. The walk was lovely, with flowers lining the route and really good scenery. Icmeler beach is relaxing and quiet but with lots of places to eat and drink when you want to
Our activities were limited due to the practicalities of traveling in a wheelchair. The fact that there is a smooth, paved boulevard from Marmaris to Icmeler gave us a wonderful opportunity to investigate other towns.
The walk, about 4km from Marmaris, is delightful along the beachfront past the watersport/diving pontoons and dolphinarium. There are plenty of watering holes to investigate...

I was, frankly, disappointed in Icmeler as a whole. It looked run down and in need of help. Stick to Marmaris where they have invested a LOT in improvements.
