We came, we saw, we drove away again. We have no doubt the gorge itself is spectacular and the experience of the rushing water thrilling but the tacky commercial gauntlet you have to run before even reaching the ticket office (we approached from the Xanthos side, not Fetiye) was desperately offputting. We thought we were heading for a cherished beauty... More

Just a fantastic day all round been here several times! And would happily go back again this year, you must take a camera! Brilliant place for photos can also recommend doing the rubber rings down the river! Perfectly safe for any ages and what a great time!! Don't worry it's never very deep and they will even tie your rings... More

A good time, the gorge is fun to hike through and the water is cold but refreshing on a hot day. If you don't have good water shoes they have some shoes you can rent, but bring socks so they don't cut up your feet. Also, for transportation, my friend and I just took a minibus there. It was pretty... More

Walk up the gorge starts off pretty easy but the further you go, the more difficult it gets. Lots of scrambling and wading through chest-high waters of cold water. A few bruises at the end. Exilirating! Great lunch at the end.

Picturesque place and a bit of an adrenaline rush trying to wade through the gorge. Awesome but buy plastic/ swim shoes before.

The walk up the gorge is fun, since the water is sooo cold, but tourists seem to enjoy writing on the white walls with mud, and this detracts from nature and photos. Be careful carrying young children and electronic equipment as it is easy to slip.

The whole experience of walking through water up the gorge against the current was a real adventure. Would never be allowed in north america for safety reasons. A real thrill!!!

A good day out, very scenic. Quite a difficult walk up the gorge over boulders and in freezing cold water. But there are guides there to help for a tip.

This is such a lovely place and what a surprise. So many dragonflies fluttering around and like an secret garden. Gorge is spectacular. Lots of areas to sit and have a drink and lunch. Open all year! We went by dolmus, plenty of local transport.
