Nice to see other cultures but not really much to see other than mosaics and prayer rooms. Got hassled In there too!!!!

Nice stop off during our Sahara safari trip although we couldn't go inside, the architecture was wonderful.

Not something I normally find myself doing but it was included in the El Djem trip. Nicely surprised, very enjoyable trip and worht a visit for the history and the size of the place. Never will you see anything this large in the UK.

Anyone going to Hammamet should visit the mosque in the Medina and go to the Maison Arabe restaurant at the Mosque entrance the food is amazing, local and run by a really nice family

This was part of a trip we booked through Thomas Cook, it was amazing experience. Our guide was excellent, he told us all kinds of facts, and stories. If you get the chance to go, don't miss out.

Lovely architecture but it was closed when we arrived. Be careful - there are people who follow you around in Medina.

you can have a look around the outside, its a shame its not open all the time, would have liked to see the inside as well. oh most importantly don't let any of the locals take pictures for you with your camera because they expect you to pay them....

As I said boring if you don't like mosques but was part of a day trip - wear log trousers or below knee skirt or you get a over sized gown to wear
