Very good experience for all the members of the family. Between elephants & bears, it's difficult to choose our prefer one but my small son vote for the small monkey at the entrance shop. It was a very good idea to stop there on the way to Chang Hua Man royal project. For sure, we will come back to visit... More

This is really worth visiting if you like animals but two important things to bear in mind following our visit on 12 April. One, they are not taking 'turn up visitors' any more - instead you need to book a guide. The reason for this is to ensure the animals are not stressed by people's activities (such as poking fingers... More

I came to WFFT to volunteer for 3 weeks and ended up staying an extra week, so a month in total. The work as an elephant volunteer is physically demanding, but so much fun. The animals are amazing, they all have a different story and are at the centre to recover from their previous lifes, where they were abbused or... More

This wildlife refuge does not look like a true "attraction". My sister in-law has been there for the past six weeks helping with the elephants. She has really enjoyed the hard work and caring for the animals. If you decide to "volunteer", make sure you are ready for hot weather and long hot days working. This is not a spa.... More

We recently did the full day experience and got to see what it was like to volunteer for the day. It is a great rescue agency giving wild animals a second chance most coming from the tourist and private pets. They came and picked us up from where we were staying in Hua Hin and brought us to the rescue... More

My overall experience as a One day experience participant is excellent. I got an impression that animals there are treated very well, place is extremely clean and visible well maintained. The food for animals looks very good quality and also the cages looks appropriate size. Our guide Ann or Anna was very nice as well. Animals seemed not being in... More

It was my first experience as volunteer in a wildlife rescue center in a foreign country. I worked for 2 weeks in the WFFT and I am quiet satisfied of this experience. I think that 2 weeks is a maximum because the tasks are repetitive, and some are not very interesting. The great thing is the possibility to discover the... More

We visited this sanctuary today for a day's excursion as I am passionate about wildlife. I have nothing but praise for it. The enclosures are clean and generous, the diets are varied and relevant to the species and the staff (both volunteer and permanent) know their roles and are clearly committed and knowledgeable. I was impressed with the professionalism as... More

I initially came here for 2 weeks and now 2 months on I'm still here. I've read some of the reviews talking about the owner but I find that these reviews really do take away from the fabulous work the founders, the staff and all the volunteers are doing here. The priorities at WFFT are always the animals, no exception.... More

I booked my visit to the centre through a travel agent in Cha-am, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this beautiful and peaceful sanctuary. I would highly recommend visiting this wildlife centre. It will open your eyes to the ongoing battle that the wildlife face. We all loved the experience pity it was only for one day. Thank you to... More
