that village is part of a day trip to see James Bond Island and not worth. packs of tourist sheep eating their lunch here and wonder around. 75% of the village is full with shops. What a tourist trap. You feel like a walking wallet. all is overpriced. Avoid and wait in the restaurant till the tour goes on. Cultural... More

i've been there once last time i went to Phuket, with 5 friends of mine. I guess pearl was what they mostly sell there. None of us bothered to have a look on it. I guess interest does the matter. Because we are not so into pearl. for me it was kinda time wasting there

This is a good place to learn about a different culture so if you are not into that, there is no reason to stop. it is cool to see this place on stilts but you can see from the boat. The restaurant at the very end has great food but there isn't much to see. We had a tour around... More

We visited the village as part of a day tour to James Bond Island. While it was unlike anything I've ever seen before, I do not care to return. The food at the restaurant was a bit too adventurous for my taste (unidentifiable meats, entire fish, etc). You cannot order from a menu and plates of pre-selected food are just... More

Had Lunch here after I visited James Bond Island. The food was the basic rice with vegetables, fish, and chicken. There is not much besides the restaurants. Lots of corridors of stores which pretty much sell the same merchandise over and over again. Not much to see. When you look sown as you walk, you can see the water between... More

We did this as part of our trip to James Bond island. We stopped here on the way back. The lunch that was included was very good and there were a huge amount of shops through the back of the restaurants.

Very nice place but you will get harassed by the store sellers. To see the other side of life take a walk round the back paths of this village.

We came here part of a tour that took us to James bond island. We had lunch at the floating village which was nice then we got to explore. Its really amazing how all the residents live in the middle of the bay. Theres many shops selling their wares at a good price. If you ask nicely they may also... More

This village was part of a day trip that we had organized to see the James Bond Island and I really could have skipped the whole thing. You feel like a pack of tourist sheep as you are herded off the long boats with all the other hoards who have probably been suckered into this as well. The whole experience... More
