Superb and lifetime experience. Booked first class from Ooty to Coonor and back to ooty. In coonor railway station, i was approached by a local taxi driver with there sight fares and opted to go with them instead of waiting for someone and killing time.

Nothing special than the feel n heritage. Obviously the view from the train (valley) through the journey is amazing. Tickets are Rs 5 for II class. Good for 'just once' :)

It is always enjoyable to ride in toy train for one hour. There are spectacular beauties in valley of nilgiri. You may find difficulty to get ticket. Be in booking counter in one hour advance. Don’t miss the chance.
