I am still pinching myself that my wife and I had the opportunity to snorkel here. The water was a bit rough and unfortunately did not get to see any reef sharks but all else was fantastic. Just an amazing structure with frigates, boobies and then all sorts of underwater beauty.

Waters were a little rougher than the more protected spots we had previously swam. Deeper water but that afforded us the opportunity to see some reef sharks.

Kicker Rock is one of the best day trips from San Cristobal Island in the galapagos. The trip is for half day and usually goes first to Islas lobos and then to Kicker Rock. People need to be able to swim, Kicker Rock is in open ocean with strong currents, if you don´t swim well, use a lifejacket.
