I can't say enough good things about this unforgettable trip which we took in 2013. Tomas, who was our official guide, was knowledgable, savvy, warm, funny, nurturing and made every moment memorable. This is an active vacation, hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, camping, getting close to nature in every way. NOT a cruise ship, one actually gets to stay on the islands!... More

Our ROW experience was top-notch due to the fact we had an incredible guide- Marco Castro. Marco was detailed focused and made our numberous island transfers seamless. We did not encounter one glitch in the whole 10 days spent with Marco. We felt safe at all times, whether we were beach camping, sea kayaking, hiking a volcano, or walking the... More

Our guide Tomas made this trip! He was amazing and so positive and took care of everyone's needs. I am still amazed at his attention to detail and took care of everything even down to remembering 10 different diet requirements. His English was perfect. He made all of us laugh and was the best at "bla bla" time. Sea Kayaking... More

Our Dec 2012 trip through the Gallapagos on the "Eric" was truly the trip of a lifetime. We are so glad that we picked ROW: Morag and Naomi were both wonderfully helpful throughout all planning and decision making events prior to our departure. The daily blend of hiking, snorkeling, kayaking swimming, etc. each was perfect for our family. Wonderful friendly crew... More

My husband and I just came back from Ecuador -- we went on two trips arranged/organized by ROW Adventures -- one was the Darwin's Triangle in the Galapagos and the other was a stay in the Napo WIldlife Center in the Ecuadorian Amazon. From start to finish, Morag (our POC) was awesome! She had responded to me after I registered... More

This was not your grandmother's relaxing tour of interesting places. You got up early, hiked long, snorkeling many times in wet suits, and experienced a variety of terrains. Of course you came to see the animals, birds and plant life and that you did in almost overwhelming bounty. You don't need to be in top fit but you do need endurance. The guides... More

Just returned from wonderful trip to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Our group of 12 immediately became friends for this adventure. Very active, land based exploration of the islands with knowledgeable, pleasant, energetic tour leaders away from tour boat groups.Good food and lodging. Lifelong memories of this unique archipelago.

To begin with, this was a SERIOUS adventure. You snorkel two to four times a day, sea kayak six miles, hike twelve miles, and otherwise need to be relatively fit. If you want a relaxing, sit-on-the-beach-with-an-umbrella-drink vacation, this is NOT the vacation for you. As an initial matter, Henry was our guide, and he was AMAZING. I'm telling you--incredibly knowledgeable,... More

Kudos to ROW Adventures and Red Mangrove for a wonderful vacation and experience while visiting the Galapagos August 1-7. I booked the 5 night/6 day Darwin’s Triangle tour through ROW Adventures with Naomi West (one of the best experiences I’ve had with an adventure outfitter!) and was taken care of every step of the way, from having a representative waiting... By far the most professional wild life excursion we have experienced. The guide (Santiago) was very knowledgable and made sure we were always comfortable and well informed about our daily activities. The outings were tailored to our athletic abilities, but expect to swim and hike a lot. Snorkeling in the Galapagos is by far the most spectacular : we swam... More
