Park Tayrona was really nice. I enjoyed being there, but had I known it would be crawling with 20 something hippy backpackers from around the globe, I may have chosen another excursion. It wasn't bad, just not my scene. The beauty of the ocean and jungle was still pretty awesome. More

Tayrona definitely lives up to the hype. That said, be mindful of when you visit. I thought we stumbled upon Occupy Tayrona, but it was just the campsite for El Cabo. This park is diverse, interesting on several levels and still under developed. The beaches if you are there early are worth walking as far away as possible from the parking area...
