What a great day out! There is some hiking involved to get to the best beach out of some beautiful coastline. Even the non-hikers in our group enjoyed the scenery. The best beach is Cabo and to reach this part you'll have to first take a cab from the park entrance to the parking of the Park....then from there at least walk at a very fast pace 1.5 hours to get to this beach...which means back and forth a total of 3 hours just walking to get in and out... More

Pricey for US folks but plenty of great hiking. Really went to sleep like a baby lying on the beach listening to the most amazing crashing surf.

It really is quite beautiful. I did not have time to spend weeks and weeks, but the remoteness of it - the difficulty and altitude and descent of the hike, even to the first beach, canaveral, make it quite a scene. It is a Paradise, a great place to camp in the mountain while having beach right there. I preffer to stay in Arrecifes because they have all the needed ammenities, fairly clean bathrooms and showers and 2 options of restaurants.
