This theme park is split into two parts, with one part being a Chinese folk and culture exhibition, and the second a tour around China in miniature scale. The scale model buildings and mountains include the Great Wall of China, Forbidden temple in Beijing, Terracotta Army in Xi'an and many many more. The scale models are set in beautifully landscaped... More

My travelling companion selected this unique attraction and it didn't disappoint. We arrived just after lunch which was fine however I believe two visits would allow to take all the sites without rushing. If your budget allows hire an electric cart, price around 120 to 150 RMB per hour for a double. It allowed us to see most of the... More

Splendid China is a fascinating way to spend a morning or afternoon walking around the beautiful gardens and looking at the wonderful miniature recreations of famous sites from all around China. The ticket costs 150 CNY (£15) and this gets you entry into Splendid China & the Folk Village (which I will be going back to tomorrow!). The miniature village... More

Splendid China Park is an excellent way to spend an entire day walking, and admiring famous minature scale models of Chinese structures. On one side of the park there are cultural performances by live actors....really outstandings! You will need to allow a good 5 hours to take allthe attractions in. Wear comfotable shoes/sneakers! I visited this park in Dec. 2010,... More

This one is the counterpart of the nearby Windows of the World, but for China only. It is a big park where you can have nice walks between the most beautiful constructions of China! The miniatures are actually lovely and quite detailed. And the gardens are very well maintained. The place is not ultimately amazing (go see the actual sights... More

Plastic flowers, windmills, giant plastic figures , more colors that a child 's paintbox could have. . . But. . . . At the same time beautifully manicured flower beds, bonsai trees and well made miniatures of famous sights in China. Yes, it's a kitch mixture by Western standards but it's also a chance for Chinese people to see what... More

Splendid China is nicely landscaped and the miniatures are excellently done. It's got nice walks, water features and shows. Its very easy to get to - on the metro, and very easy to get around, with options for self-driving vehicles for anyone who needs mobility assistance. Its very peaceful in the early evenings, when the crowds have died down. Went... More

Vast plethora of Chinese culture from the terracotta armies through the Warring States period to the present. Immaculate renditions of palaces, statues and even the Great Wall. It shares the same site as the Folk Villages and together must contend as 'Wondr of the World'. I got in for roughly £8 plus about 45 pence tube fare (33 on the... More

Its an okay park, but there isn't much to do and a lot of it is the same. I won't be going again. Its just a bunch of small models of different parts of China.

I did not have much hope for a park with mini replicas of famous China locations, but it really was fun. Be sure to where your walking shoes and we enjoyed seeing the replicas of places we've been (Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace) and checking out places we want to go in the future!
