The campus is well worth a visit and is a great place to kill a few hours. Lovely gardens and exhibitions detailing the history of the University. Great views of Xiamen's best beach. Visit the art tunnel, A collection of student artwork. Sit by the lake and enjoy the sunshine. All this at no cost. It's a no brainer.

big university ground for strolling. There's a big lake in the middle of the campus where you can sit and enjoy the view. It is near the beach area and nanputou temple. In the beach area, you can rent a bike for 30 rmb/hour but you need to leave a deposit of 300rmb.

I initially couldn't understand why a university campus would be a tourist destination, now I do. A perfect place to walk around and escape the crowds of the Xiamen's other tourist spots. Beautiful lake and well kept gardens. Make sure you go to Lovers valley!

This university has a huge areal with very nice buildings, a lake in a big park and several guarded entries for vehicles. Even it's located in the city it is not noisy.

Walked around ...very beautiful and worth the time. Many people during spring festival.... But big enough to be away from people.

The university campus is just a beautiful park and free for all to visit and adjacent to a well known Buddhist temple. A great day out.

The lake that is in the centre of the campus is beautifully designed and delightfult to walk around or just sit and watch. Old student accomodation with clothes hanging to dry sits tastefully beside the stunning concert hall.

I've seen a few universities that are said to be among the most beautiful in China, but this one is top. The lake, the park, well-maintained old buildings and good modern architecture, and the mountain backdrop make this place stunning. Interesting to see a Chinese University but nothing of great interest otherwise. Good book store with reasonable prices. Coffee shop OK but prices above what students expect!
