This palce is absolutely stunning. Sadly we could not get inside which is supposed to be breath taking as there was a carnival on and the entrance was completely covered with festivities.

This church is a landmark in bolivia, many people come here for a blessing. Drivers park their mini buses or taxis outside and bless their vehicles, hoping the virgin will protect them and bring them luck. Copacabana is a small town, so this cathedral is a must see.

An unbelievable basilica in a very small lovely town. The altar is extremely impressive. All hand-carved and covered with gold leaf. If you're going to be in Bolivia, definitely visit Copacabana and this basilica.
