Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My family and I love this farm! If it wasn't almost 50 mins away from where we live, I would be here every other week. Lots of pick your own options throughout the growing season. It is a little on the pricey side compared to other farms in the area.
One of our most favorite fruit Asian pear is grown here and it's not very commonly grown in the nearby farms, giving us yet another reason to come here.
There is something for everyone here- PYO, hayrides, live music, food truck and a lovely nice vibe to just chill outdoors. Their cider and donuts are delicious!
Their on site store has a lot of local produce and definitely a must visit. Lots of parking around too.
There is a food truck but it has a small menu and the lines are usually super long, so we haven’t tried the food yet. Hopefully next season we will.
Definitely a must visit farm if you are in the area or even worth a drive!

A large farm where you can pick your own fruit (and I believe flowers/vegetables at the right time of year).
Nice to walk around the fields.plenty of wildlife and the field of mixed garden flowers was lovely to look at.
All set up for Halloween with huge numbers of pumpkins and gourds for sale. A large shop selling mostly farm produce from around the area. Seemed pricey but such goods often are.
On site"restaurant" selling food/drinks to eat in out for seating area. Children's play area.
Was busy for a weekday so locals like it.

Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury, Ma is decked out for the season with gourds of all shapes & sizes, apple picking, cider donuts and more. The apple crisp ice cream was delicious and we picked up some of their house made cider to go

We loved visiting your farm with a friend who lives nearby. The farm has great apple donuts and a great inside store all knotty pine. Many items to choose from. Did not have enough time to pick blueberries but will next time or something else that is in season when visiting again. Great staff too.

We had no idea this farm had so many delicious foods and cider! Must get the cider donuts, they barely made it home! We also got Summer Cider which was delicious. We bought some other items they made and all were yummy. I could come here everyday and find something different to buy.

One of the best apple picking farms out there in MA. Located a little over an hour drive outside of Boston. Plenty of parking and well organized . They have a food truck, a cider bar , tent setup for weekend live bands. Chicken cage and goats for kids . Plenty of fruits to pick depending on the season . We were here for the apples and it was 35 dollars per bag. It was a long walk back to the gate after carrying all the apples we picked . Very nice scenery and beautiful orchards. The apples tasted delicious. The people are also very friendly.

This is by far our favorite spot for apple picking and cider donuts. Let's talk about these cider donuts, they are perhaps the best in the area. Light, fluffy (think Krispy Kreme cloud like texture), with a subtle apple flavor and you can also have cinnamon sugar. They are best hot, but can be warmed in the oven if you bring them back home. The donuts are worth the trip alone, but there is much more to see, do and taste here.

The You Pick options vary through the seasons, and we were impressed with the pick your own flower option this summer. We have not tried the tulip picking in the spring but plan to do so. Berries are available in the summer, and of course apples this time of year.

The store itself has great produce and a nice selection of gourmet food items. A recent addition is the hard apple cider which is tasty and can be purchased in bottles or tastes outside for enjoyment. Plenty to do for kids as well. Don't miss this farm.

We had a visit to Cider Hill Farm this past weekend while staying at a campground closeby. We were excited to pick some apples and see what other activities this place has. This place was a mob scene. Very crowded, which is fine for Labor Day Weekend. But overall we did not enjoy our experience and found it VERY expensive.
Luckily parking is free. We started our visit with some food and a hard cider tasting. There were no prices posted and we were shocked when our 4-sample tasting came to $23 EACH! Granted they were BIG cups each, but that is crazy. What's worse, is we love hard cider, and this just wasn't very good. The Peach hard cider was very tasty, but the Spring and Fall apple cider were almost undrinkable. Very weird taste.
We then decided to do some apple picking. $20 for a peck which is not a huge bag and we were off. Our big problem is that while they give you vague indications as to which apples were ripe and in season (Like Row 3 half way down), once you get into the immense orchard there are no signs and no one helping you decide which apples are which and which are ready to be picked.
Lastly, we popped into the farm store for some cider donuts which were underwhelming and some apple turnovers, which again tasted like what you'd get at Hannafords. Overall, a BIG disappointment given the price we paid, and we won't come back.

We visited during a time when there was nothing to pick. We walked up to the look out point and enjoyed the beautiful views. We got lunch at the food truck and ate under the pavilion while we listened to the live music. It is a gorgeous property and a fun and relaxing place to visit! There are only porta potties but there is a place to wash your hands. There is a farm store, chickens to visit, a pond, a playground and lots of picnic tables.
