No trip to Panama City would be complete without a trip to the very end of The Amador Causway, Take a cab, ride a bike, rent a scooter, pedal car, or simply walk. Many diverse eateries await. Spectacular views of Panama City, ships stretching for miles awaiting transit of the Panma Canal, oceanside views of many large and small islands.... More

We came in from the Decameron for a daytour and spent part of the day at Amador Causeway. We did a bit of walking and we really enjoyed the breathtaking view of the Bridge of Americas and of the city. It was a bit hazy the day we were there but enjoyed it anyways. We had lunch at Lenos and... More

Not much to see or do here. We did, however, have a very nice lunch at restaurant Barko on Isla Perico. Try the Hojaldres...the sauce is fantastic. Corvina was excellent. We were ripped off by the taxi. $4 to get there and $10 to get back.

Good for a walk if the sun is not too hot. Bike and karts rentals. A number of restaurants (mainly seafood and italian places) making it a good place to go out. Nice view on the new part of the city. I also liked to watch the many pelicans fish in the bay.

This would not be the area where I would want to stay just because it's rather touristy. The breeze blowing across the causeway was wonderful and the pedestrian path is a great place to get some exercise and we enjoyed watching families biking together. Lots of restaurants and cafes with views. Try Lenos Y Carbon for something special!

Are a bundle of restaurants on the water of varying quality, but still a romantic place at night, with views of the skyline at night. The night we went the Panamanian President was attending a bar mitzvah party at the restaurant next door, meaning the area is generally relatively safe.

We drove through the Amador Causeway. The views were very nice. The area had some restaurants and stores that seemed to cater to the touristas. We went in the afternoon and it was very quiet. It most likely picks up in the evening. It is very hot in the area. A quick drive through and a short stroll along the... More

Great relaxing drive with amazing views on both sides. Enjoy a gelato or a beer at the end before another amazing ride back.
