Panama Marine Adventures is the leader tour operator in Panama Canal Tours aboard the MV Pacific Queen. We offer two options to experience the Panama Canal and its history up close. The Partial Transit tour has a duration of 4 to 5 hours. It goes through the Miraflores and Pedro Miguel Locks, underneath the Bridge of the Americas and Centennial Bridge and Gaillard Cut. The Full Transit tour has a duration of 8 to 9 hours. You will transit through the three set of locks: Miraflores, Pedro Miguel and Gatun Locks, commencing in Pacific Ocean and ending in the Atlantic Ocean.In both options you will observe some of the works that are being held for the Canal's expansion.

The half-canal boat trip was really all the canal one needs. The boat was crowded, but the staff did an amazing job of serving lunch to all 300+ passengers in minimum time.

Partial Panama Canal Tour (transit through the Mira Flores and Pedro Miguel locks). Lunch was served after the passage through the locks. Friendly staff, and a bilingual guide... who gave us lots of background history which made the trip even more interesting! Highly recommend this adventure!

If you have a choice of taking a partial or a full transit of the Panama Canal, do your self a favor and take the partial transit. It is a 6 hour day with the full transit easily making it 12 hours.
